Srinagar, Oct 08 (KNC): JKBOSE Announces 15% Syllabus Relaxation:The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (J&K BOSE) has officially notified the date-sheets for Annual/Regular 2025 examinations for classes 11th and 12th (Oct-Nov Session), with exams scheduled to commence from November 19 and November 8 respectively.
In a significant development, the board has announced a 15% syllabus relaxation for all students, making an attempt of 85% marks equivalent to 100% in consideration of academic disruptions caused by torrential rains, cloudbursts, and floods in the region.
Massive Student Participation
According to official statistics, over 1,52,000 students are set to participate in the higher secondary examinations:
- Class 11th: Approximately 81,000 students
The participating students include those from Kashmir Division, winter zone areas of Jammu Division, and District Kargil, marking the restoration of the academic session back to October-November timeframe by the Government.

- Class 12th Exams: November 08, 2025 to Second Week of December 2025
- Class 11th Exams: November 19, 2025 to Second Week of December 2025
