Srinagar: Two Soldiers Go Missing in Kokernag, :Two soldiers have gone missing in the Gadool area of Kokernag, located in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, since Monday, officials confirmed on Wednesday (Source: KNC).
The personnel reportedly lost contact while on duty, triggering immediate search and rescue operations in the region. Sources indicated that adverse weather conditions may have caused the soldiers to stray from their path, prompting intensified efforts to locate them.
Teams from the Army and local authorities are coordinating to cover the difficult terrains to ensure the safe recovery of the missing personnel. Authorities have also appealed to local residents to cooperate with the ongoing search operations and exercise caution while moving in the area.
