KPDCL Announces Scheduled Power Shutdowns Across Kashmir from June 28 to July 5; Check Affected Areas and Timings

Srinagar, June 28: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a series of scheduled power shutdowns across multiple districts of Kashmir between June 28 and July 5, 2026, to facilitate essential maintenance of various 33 kV transmission lines.

The power outages will be carried out in phases and will affect several residential areas, industrial zones, and commercial establishments. According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the shutdowns are necessary to ensure the safe execution of maintenance works aimed at improving the reliability and efficiency of the power distribution network.

Residents in the affected areas have been advised to make necessary arrangements in advance as electricity supply will remain suspended from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on the specified dates.

June 28 Power Shutdown Schedule

33 kV Potushai–Bandipora–Ajar Line

Power supply will remain affected in:

  • Panzigam
  • Kuloosa
  • Kazipora
  • Khayar
  • Ajar
  • Town Arin
  • Arin
  • Aham Sharief
  • Adjoining areas

Timing: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

33 kV Potushai–Ajas Line

The following areas will witness a power shutdown:

  • Nishat
  • Papchan
  • Ajas
  • SK Bala
  • Sadunara
  • Bazipora
  • Nadihal
  • Guroora
  • Argam
  • Nearby localities

Timing: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

33 kV Kanipora–IGC Aglar Line

Electricity supply will remain suspended in:
