Anganwadi Worker Merit List 2025 Released for Bishnah; Tentative Selection Announced, Objections Invited Within 10 Days
The Poshan Project Bishnah, District Jammu, has officially released the Merit List and Tentative Selection List for the post of Sangini (Anganwadi Worker) under Phase-4 recruitment. The list has been issued in reference to Advertisement Notice No. 01 of 2025/Bishnah dated 21-11-2025.
As per the notification, applications were invited from eligible female candidates for the posts of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) and Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) for various Panchayats and Municipal Wards falling under the jurisdiction of Poshan Project Bishnah.

After the completion of the application process, scrutiny of forms was conducted by the Selection Committee in accordance with the new Human Resource Policy issued vide Government Order No. 222-JK(SWD) of 2022 dated 30-11-2022, read with Government Order No. 103-JK(SWD) of 2023 dated 28-04-2023.
According to the official notice, candidates listed in Annexure “A” have been provisionally/tentatively considered for selection against the available vacancies in respective Anganwadi Centres. These candidates are required to report to the office of CDPO, Poshan Project Bishnah, within 10 days from the date of issuance of the notice along with all original documents for verification.
The department has also invited objections from the general public regarding the provisional selection list. Any objections must be submitted in writing to the office of CDPO Poshan Project Bishnah within 10 days. No claims or objections will be entertained after the stipulated period.
For transparency, the Merit List has also been published in Annexure “B” for the information of all applicants.
As per the merit list, Hema Sharma W/o Abhishek Sharma, securing 74.4% marks, has been recommended for provisional selection for the post of Sangini (Anganwadi Worker) on a purely honorarium basis, subject to verification of documents, antecedents, and resolution of any objections.
Officials clarified that the selection list is purely provisional and may be modified in case of valid objections, detection of forged documents, or any other administrative reason at any stage.
Candidates are advised to complete the verification process within the given timeline to avoid cancellation of their provisional selection.
