Big Reshuffle: Over 70 Finance Department Officers Transferred in J&K
SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday ordered the transfer and posting of 75 officers of the JK Accounts Service across departments and institutions with immediate effect.
The reshuffle was issued through Government Order No. 174-F of 2026 dated April 30 by the Finance Department, stating that the transfers were made in the interest of administration.
As per the order, Iftikhar Hussain Chouhan will hold additional charge of Director Finance, Chief Minister’s Secretariat. Naila Zahoor Chib has been posted as Director Finance, Accountancy Training Institute Srinagar, while Yasir Sharief has been appointed Financial Advisor/CAO, JK Sports Council and Sachin Verma as Treasury Officer, Saddar Treasury Jammu.
Manohar Lal has been posted as Chief Pay and Accounts Officer, JPDCL Kathua, and Shadab Mukhdoomi as District Treasury Officer Budgam. Alok Gupta has been shifted to JK Prisons Headquarters, while Javed Maqbool Khanday has been posted at Government Medical College Anantnag.
Mohd Ayoub Lone has been posted as District Treasury Officer Anantnag, and Lokesh Gupta at Baglihar Hydro Electric Project Batote. Pritpal Singh has been moved to the office of Inspector General Registration, and Nousheen Mushtaq to Government Medical College Srinagar.
Showkat Ali Rather has been posted as Chief Pay and Accounts Officer KPDCL Ganderbal, Tehleela Asmat as Treasury Officer Saddar Treasury Srinagar, Sareer Ahmad Mir with Chief Engineer PHE Kashmir, and Mubashira Hussain at Police Headquarters.
Bikram Dutt has been posted at GMC Udhampur, Laikat Khan at Rajouri, and Anudeep Kour Sudan at Additional Treasury Gandhinagar. Satyan Shree Gupta has been moved to JPDCL Udhampur, while Mohd Akram has been posted at JKPTCL Srinagar.
Irfan Majid has been posted at Road Transport Corporation, Nishad Akhtar at GP Fund Police Cell Srinagar, and Mohd Iqbal Pedhar at SICOP with additional charge of SIDCO.
Mohd Ashraf Ahanger has been posted at District Fund Office Kupwara, Vivek Sharma at Directorate of Family Welfare, Abdul Salam Kumar at District Fund Office Ganderbal, and Anish Singh at PWD (R and B) Chenab Valley Batote.
Mohd Iqbal has been posted at BOPEE, Jatinder Singh at Transport Commissioner Office, Farooq Ahmad Lone at Pulwama, Belal Ahmad Lone at Directorate of Industries and Commerce Srinagar, Kuldeep Kumar at Kathua, and Lokash Kumar at District Fund Office Kishtwar.
Zaffar Iqbal has been posted as Chief Accounts Officer (post continuation), while Qamar Rehman has been shifted to Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri.
Mohd Shafait Rehman has been posted as Deputy Director, Budget Division, with additional charge of GP Fund Moving Cell, while Shahnawaz Ahmad has been posted at Chief Engineer PHE Jammu.
Mohammad Ashraf Iqbal Hakla has been posted at JK Public Service Commission, Abdul Rashid Dostum at JPDCL Poonch, and Abhishek Talwaria at JK Handloom Development Corporation.
Showkat Ahmad Khan has been posted at Power Development Corporation Srinagar, Dalawar Singh at Additional Treasury New Plot, and Mohammad Shafi Wani at District Treasury Kupwara.
Shaziya Rasool has been posted at Central Financial Organisation PDD Srinagar, Sonika Sharma at Northern Zonal Accountancy Training Institute Jammu, and Sayka Hassan at Srinagar Metropolitan Regional Development Authority.
