Accountants Transfer Order Issued in Jammu – Full List Released
The Directorate of Accounts & Treasuries has issued a fresh transfer and posting order for accountants across various departments in Jammu.
According to Order No. 53-Accts of 2026 dated April 30, 2026, several officials have been transferred or given additional charge with immediate effect in the interest of administration.
Key Transfers and Postings
Several important changes have been made across departments:
• Mohd Shabir has been posted as Managing Director (MD) Housing Board Jammu
• Ridhima Gupta has been appointed as Chief Pay & Accounts Officer (CP&AO) JKPDCL Jammu
• Devinder Pal Singh has been shifted as Commandant SDRF 2nd Battalion Jammu
• Naresh Kumar Sharma has been posted as Deputy Director Audit & Inspection Jammu
• Parveen Kumar has been transferred to Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC)
• Naresh Kumar (SSP Office) moved to SSP Security Jammu
• Inderpal Singh shifted to SSP Jammu
• Pawan Kumar appointed as Deputy Commissioner Samba (additional charge)

• Rakesh Singh Chauhan transferred to Government Degree College (W) Kathua
• Karamjot Singh posted to District Jail Poonch

Official Statement
The order, issued by Director Rajesh Chander Kotwal, states that all transfers are effective immediately and made to ensure smooth functioning of departments.
