The Cluster University of Srinagar has invited applications for the engagement of a Field Investigator under an ICSSR Major Research Project (2025–26). Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for the Field Investigator post must be graduates in any Social Science discipline with at least 55% marks.
Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Have completed the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP).
- Have experience in fieldwork, surveys, archival work or documentation.
- Have relevant experience related to the Kashmiri language, folk literature or oral traditions.
Candidates with knowledge and practical exposure in these areas may receive preference during the selection process.
Project Duration and Terms
The Field Investigator engagement is purely temporary and co-terminus with the tenure of the research project.
The project tenure is stated to be 24 months, or for such period as may be decided by the Project Director.
The engagement will not create any right or claim for regularisation or absorption in Cluster University of Srinagar or any other institution.
The remuneration will also be subject to the availability and release of funds by the funding agency.
Candidates appearing for the interview will not be entitled to TA/DA.
