DGP’s Special Reward Awarded to 30 Wards of J&K Police Personnel
Jammu, Apr 22, 2026 – The Headquarters of Jammu & Kashmir Police has granted the DGP’s Special Reward to 30 wards of serving police personnel. Each recipient will receive ₹10,000 along with a Class I Commendation Certificate.
The awards recognize outstanding performance in competitive examinations held during 2024-25 and 2025-26, including NEET, JEE (Main), NDA, IISER, and various BOPEE entrance tests.
The beneficiaries include students who qualified for MBBS, B.Tech, BDS, Nursing, and other professional courses. The total amount sanctioned is ₹3,00,000, drawn from the Central Police Welfare Fund.
The order was issued under Reference Rule 3 d II of the Revised Welfare Fund Rules (6th Edition, 2018).
