Finance Department Transfers in Jammu & Kashmir: Key Officers Reshuffled
Srinagar, March 31: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered a fresh round of transfers and postings in the Finance Department to strengthen administrative functioning.
According to Government Order No. 146-F of 2026, issued by the Finance Department, several senior अधिकारियों have been reassigned with immediate effect.
Key Transfers and Postings
• Imtiyaz Ahmad Wani has been transferred from Director Resources and posted as Director Accounts & Treasuries, Kashmir. He will take charge after the retirement of Abdul Hamid Kumar on March 31, 2026.
• Mazher Hussain, previously Director Finance in the Public Works (R&B) Department, has been posted as Director Resources in the Finance Department.
• Hemkant Prasher has been shifted from the Agriculture Production Department and posted as Director Finance, Public Works (R&B) Department.
• Tabasum, Director Finance in the Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department, will hold additional charge of Director Finance, Agriculture and Horticulture Department until further orders.
The order was issued by Financial Commissioner Shailendra Kumar.
These administrative changes are aimed at improving efficiency and ensuring smooth functioning of the Finance Department across Jammu and Kashmir.
