J&K Education Directorate Orders Transfer of 13 Senior Officials

In a significant administrative move aimed at streamlining operations, the Directorate of School Education (DSE) Jammu has issued a major transfer and posting order for 13 Senior Assistants and other senior officials across various districts. The order (No. 3-5-DSEJ of 2025), dated October 25, 2025, is effective immediately and was signed by Dr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary, JKAS, Director of School Education Jammu.
The transfers were ordered “in the interest of administration” and affect personnel in Samba, Kathua, Udhampur, Reasi, and Doda. The Directorate has directed the concerned Chief Education Officers to submit compliance reports within one week.
Key Appointments and Rotations
Notable rotations include postings in Samba where Mr. Rajeev Sharma has been posted as CEO Samba replacing Mr. Sunil Kumar, who has been transferred to GHSS Samba. In Kathua, Mr. Suresh Kumar has been moved to ZEO Barnoti while Mr. Kulbushan Singh has been appointed CEO Kathua. Reasi and Doda also witness direct swaps and key role changes aimed at administrative balance.
