J&K Government Orders Major Reshuffle in Transport Department
SRINAGAR, November 14, 2025: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Friday announced a significant reshuffle in the Transport Department, transferring and posting several ARTOs and in-charge ARTOs across multiple districts. According to officials quoted by Kashmir News Channel (KNC), Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Global News Service (GNS), or Kashmir News Trust (KNT), all concerned officers have been relieved from their current positions with immediate effect.

Key Transfers Ordered by the Government
According to the official order issued by the Secretary to the Government, Transport Department, the following officers have been reshuffled:

• Muddasir Ahmed (Jr KAS): Transferred from Bandipora to Baramulla.
• Mukhtiar Ahmed Sofi: Shifted from Baramulla to Bandipora.
• Wajahat Qayoom: Transferred from Ganderbal and posted as I/C ARTO BOI Srinagar.
• Sheikh Manzoor Ahmed: Moved from I/C ARTO BOI Srinagar to Ganderbal.
Jammu Division
• Neeraj Sharma: Transferred from Reasi to Samba.
• Nasir Ahmed (Jr KAS): Posted to Reasi; he was previously awaiting a posting.
• Mudassir Iqbal (Jr KAS): Shifted from ARTO BOI Jammu to Udhampur.
• Jugal Kishore Sharma: Moved from Udhampur to take charge as ARTO BOI Jammu.
