SRINAGAR, Nov 3: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has withheld the salaries of 18 Block Development Officers (BDOs) for their failure to complete the e-KYC verification process of MGNREGA workers, citing it as a serious lapse in official duties and accountability.

During the meeting, it was found that several blocks were lagging significantly behind the Union Territory’s average of 49.68 percent in completing e-KYC verification under the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme.
