KPDCL Announces Scheduled Power Shutdown in Ganderbal from November 3 to 8

SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a scheduled power shutdown across several areas of Ganderbal district between November 3 and November 8, 2025, to carry out essential maintenance and repair work on key 33 KV lines.

According to the power supply from the 33 KV Badampora–Wangipora and 33 KV Badampora–Army Hakbara lines will remain affected on November 3 and 6. This will impact receiving stations at Batwina, Wangipora, Nowgam, Hakbara, Hajin, and Madwan Army, resulting in disruption of electricity to areas including Batwina, Nowgam, Wangipora, Zazna, Ahan, Waskura, Kharbugh, Sumbal, Nesbal, Hajin, Preng, Madwan, Banyari, Hakbara, Chandergeer, and nearby villages from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Similarly, the 33 KV Lar–Tulmulla line will undergo maintenance on November 4 and 8, leading to shutdowns at the Lar and Tulmulla receiving stations. Power supply to Lar, Waliwar, Watlar, Repora, Tulmulla, Dangerpora, Larsun, and adjoining areas will remain affected between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM on these dates.
