SRINAGAR, AUGUST 31: The Jammu and Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a scheduled power shutdown across several areas of Kashmir during the first week of September 2026.
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, power supply will remain affected in different areas of Srinagar, Ganderbal, Chadoora and adjoining regions due to maintenance and shutdown work on various 33 kV and 132/33 kV power lines and substations.
Consumers in the affected areas have been advised to take note of the J&K power shutdown schedule for September 2026 and make necessary arrangements in advance.
J&K Power Shutdown Schedule September 2026
The scheduled power cuts will take place on different dates between September 2 and September 5, 2026, depending on the concerned transmission line and area.
Power Shutdown in Miskeenbagh, Rosebal and Adjoining Areas

The 33 kV Bemina-Fateh Kadal line and 33 kV Bemina-Barbarshah line will also remain under scheduled shutdown.
