SRINAGAR: At least six passengers sustained minor injuries after a road accident involving a Sumo vehicle and a load carrier near Trehgam Police Station in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday.

An official said that the accident involved a Sumo bearing registration number JK09A-4735 and a load carrier bearing registration number JK09B-7597.

Soon after the collision, locals and police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured passengers to PHC Trehgam for medical treatment, he said.

The injured were identified as residents of Hyhama and Kralpora area of Kupwara.

All the injured are reported to be in stable condition, he said, adding that further details into the incident are awaited. (KNC)
