J&K Weather Update: Warm Days Ahead, Rain & Thunderstorms Expected From May 19
🌤️ Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness mainly dry and warm weather during the next two days, while rain and thunderstorms are expected to return from mid-week across several areas of the Union Territory.
According to the Meteorological Centre Srinagar, weather conditions are expected to remain mostly dry across J&K on May 17 and 18. However, from May 19 to May 22, isolated to scattered rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds may affect both Kashmir and Jammu divisions.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has also warned of isolated thunderstorm activity accompanied by gusty winds reaching speeds of 40–50 kmph in some districts during the mid-week period.
