Salary

Selected candidates will receive a monthly remuneration of ₹60,000. This revised salary is applicable to both new candidates and renewed contracts.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold an LLB or Integrated Law Degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized institution approved by the Bar Council of India.

Applicants should also possess good knowledge of computer applications and the ability to conduct legal research online.

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 30 years (as on last date of application)

Selection Process

Selection will be based on shortlisting of applications followed by a personal interview.

Shortlisting will consider academic performance and other achievements.

Final selection will be made by a committee headed by the Chairperson of DRAT.

Duties of Law Researcher

Selected candidates will assist tribunals in legal research and case-related work.

They will assist during hearings, take notes, and support in drafting judgments and legal documents.

The role is full-time, and candidates will not be allowed to engage in any other job or legal practice during the contract period.
