SRINAGAR: A man was found dead near the National Highway at Lamberi in the Nowshera area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Tuesday, officials said.

The body was noticed by passersby, who informed the police, following which a police team reached the spot and took it into custody.
Police said the deceased has not yet been identified and the body has been kept for identification as legal formalities are being completed.
Authorities have appealed to anyone with information that could help establish the identity of the deceased to come forward and assist the investigation.
