PM Modi Honoured with Ceremonial Guard of Honour Historic Kuwait Visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his two-day historic visit to Kuwait, received a ceremonial guard of honour at the Bayan Palace. This visit is a landmark event, as it marks the first by an Indian Prime Minister to Kuwait in 43 years, the previous being by Indira Gandhi in 1981.

PM Modi’s visit, undertaken at the invitation of Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, reflects the strong bilateral relationship between the two nations. The Prime Minister held discussions with the Emir, focusing on enhancing cooperation in key areas. Both countries are expected to sign multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) aimed at boosting bilateral ties, particularly in trade and energy.
