Power Supply to Remain Disrupted in Parts of jk on January 30 and 31: JPDCL

SRINAGAR: The power supply to several areas of Kathua district will remain affected on January 30 and 31 due to scheduled maintenance works, officials of the Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) said.

According to the Superintending Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL, OM Circle Kathua, electricity supply to Gurah, Utterbehni and adjoining areas will remain disrupted on January 30 from 9 am to 2 pm.

Besides, power supply to Jogpur, Industry and surrounding areas will remain affected on January 31 between 9 am and 2 pm.

The temporary shutdown is being carried out to facilitate necessary maintenance and improvement works on the distribution network. Consumers in the affected areas have been advised to make necessary arrangements in advance.

JPDCL has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused and appealed to residents for cooperation during the scheduled power interruptions.
