Srinagar Incident: Man Found Dead, Investigation Underway: SRINAGAR: A non-local man was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Badiwudar area of Sangam in Srinagar late Wednesday night, triggering an investigation by police.
Officials said locals first noticed the body lying in agricultural fields and alerted the authorities. A police team subsequently reached the spot and took the body into custody for further legal and medical formalities.
Preliminary examination by police indicated that the deceased is believed to be a non-local male, with no visible injury marks found on the body at the time of inspection.
The body has been shifted to Shri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) Hospital, Srinagar for medico-legal formalities, including post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death.
Police have initiated further investigations to establish the identity of the deceased and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. (KNC)
