SSP Jammu Orders Transfers and Postings of Police Personnel
The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu has ordered the transfers and postings of multiple police personnel with immediate effect. The order has been issued by the District Police Headquarters Jammu following approval from the Police Establishment Board of District Jammu.

As per the official order No. 1019 of 2025 dated 15 December 2025, several officers and officials have been transferred from their present places of posting and assigned new responsibilities across different police stations and units in Jammu district. The transfers have been ordered in the interest of administration and smooth functioning of police operations.
According to officials quoted by Kashmir News Channel (KNC), Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Global News Service (GNS), or Kashmir News Trust (KNT), all the concerned personnel shall be relieved forthwith to enable them to join their new places of posting without delay.
List of Transferred Police Personnel
- ASI Bal Kumar has been transferred from Police Station Bahu Fort and will now work as MASI at Police Station Bahu Fort.
- HC Mohd Maharoof Khan (1199/J) has been transferred from PP Pangwal to Police Station Domana as MHC.
- HC Mushtaq Ahmed (301/J) has been transferred from PP Narwal to Police Station Nowabad as MHC.
- HC Altaf Hussain (683/J) has been transferred from DPL Jammu to PP Pangwal as IHC.
- HC Mohd Afzal (368/J) has been transferred from DPL Jammu to Police Station Khour as MHC.
- HC Sohan Lal (541/J) has been transferred from DPL Jammu to DSB Jammu.
- HC Rajesh Kumar (417/J) has been transferred from DPL Jammu to Police Station Jhajjar Kotli.
- HC Mohd Ashfaq (852/J) has been transferred from DPL Jammu to Police Station Bus Stand.
- L/C Tanveer Kour (2222/J) has been transferred from Police Station City to PP Gadigarh.
- Sgct Rakesh Kumar has been transferred from Police Station City to Police Station Gandhi Nagar as I/C.
- Sgct Rehmat Ali has been transferred from Police Station Janipur to Police Station Domana as MC.
- Sgct Farman Ali (2586/J) has been transferred from PP Rehari to Police Station City as MC.
- Sgct Liaqat Ali (925/J) has been transferred from DPL Jammu to PP Rehari.
- L/Sgct Rifat Saleem has been transferred from DPL Jammu to Police Station City.
- SPO Suresh Kumar (85/SPOJ) has been transferred to Police Station Gandhi Nagar.
- SPO Pawan Singh (687/SPOJ) has been transferred from Police Station Gandhi Nagar to Police Station Arnia.
- SPO Sahil Sharma (47/SPOJ) has been transferred to Police Station Bishnah.
- SPO Bushan Kumar (1074/SPOJ) has been transferred from Police Station Bishnah to DPL Jammu.
All officers and officials mentioned in the order have been directed to be relieved immediately.
