According to Trump, both crew members aboard the aircraft were safely rescued and did not suffer serious injuries. He stated that the personnel were “fine” following the reported incident.

“The United States must, of necessity, respond to this attack,” Trump wrote, signaling a potentially strong reaction from Washington if the claims are confirmed.

The remarks came after reports emerged that a US Army Apache helicopter had gone down near the Strait of Hormuz on Monday. However, details surrounding the incident remain unclear, and there has been no independent confirmation regarding the exact cause of the crash or whether Iranian forces were responsible.

The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world’s most strategically significant waterways, serving as a critical route for global oil shipments. The region has frequently been at the center of tensions between the United States and Iran, with military incidents in the area often drawing international attention.

As of now, neither US defense officials nor Iranian authorities have publicly released detailed statements confirming the circumstances of the reported helicopter incident. Further information is awaited as investigations continue.

The development comes amid ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, where any military confrontation involving the United States and Iran has the potential to impact regional security and global energy markets.
