The University of Kashmir has released Advertisement Notice No. 16 of 2026 dated 20 July 2026, inviting online applications from eligible Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir for the post of Lab Assistant.

The recruitment has been re-advertised for the third time due to an inadequate response received against previous Advertisement Notices No. 06 of 2026 and No. 13 of 2026. Candidates who applied earlier must submit a fresh application, as previous applications will not be considered.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- M.Sc. in Home Science (Extension & Communication) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University or Institute.

- Maximum Age (In-service University Employees of UT of J&K): 50 years

Reservation Policy

Selection Process
The selection process may include:
