The University of Kashmir has issued an official notification regarding the Provisional/Deficiency List for candidates who applied for the post of Legal Assistant under the Reserved Backward Area (RBA) category. This notice pertains to applications received in response to Advertisement Notice No. 07 of 2025 dated 13 November 2025.
According to the notification, the provisional list of applicants has been prepared after preliminary scrutiny of the application forms. Along with the list, the University has also highlighted deficiencies or observations, if any, against individual candidates. These deficiencies may relate to missing documents, incomplete information, or other eligibility-related issues noticed during the verification process.
Candidates whose names appear in the provisional or deficiency list are advised to carefully check their status. Such candidates are required to submit valid documentary evidence in support of their claim.

The University has clearly stated that the deadline for clearing deficiencies is 06 January 2026. Candidates can visit the Recruitment Section on all working days during office hours before the last date.
