SRINAGAR: Srinagar recorded the hottest day of the season on Saturday as the maximum temperature reached 35.9°C, which is 5.8°C above normal. The intense heat affected several districts of Jammu and Kashmir before the forecast spell of heavy rainfall from July 19.
