GMC Srinagar Issues Tentative Seniority List of Social Worker Unit for 2026
SRINAGAR: Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar has issued the tentative seniority list of the Social Worker Unit of GMC and its Associated Hospitals Srinagar for the year 2026.
As per the official notification, the seniority list has been prepared as on 01 July 2026 based on the service records and bio-data available with the office.
The notification states that the earlier final seniority list of the Social Worker Unit was issued vide Office Order No. 574 AH of 2023 dated 10-08-2023. Since the issuance of that list, several changes have taken place, including retirement of some officials, promotions to higher posts, and fresh appointments made by the competent authority.
In order to update the cadre position, GMC Srinagar has prepared a fresh tentative seniority list and circulated it as Annexure-A for information of all concerned employees.
Officials who have any objections regarding their position in the tentative seniority list can submit their representations through the proper channel along with supporting documents within 10 days from the date of issuance of the notification.
The authorities have made it clear that objections received after the deadline will not be entertained.
The controlling officers have also been directed to provide copies of the updated tentative seniority list to all concerned officials and submit a compliance certificate.
The notification further states that the date of birth and category status mentioned in the list shall remain subject to verification from official service records, matriculation certificates, and category certificates issued by competent authorities.
