The promotions were ordered under Government Order No. 73-JK(GAD) of 2026, issued by the General Administration Department, following recommendations made by the Departmental Promotion Committee and the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission.
According to the order, the promoted officers have been placed in Pay Level-8 (Rs 47,600–1,51,100), with effect from the respective dates mentioned against their names.
The officers promoted include Ramesh Kumar Bhat, Kuldeep Raj (SC), Ramesh Kumar Raina-I, Rajesh Kumar Sapolia, Salochina Koul, Pardeep Singh Samyal, Ayub Farooq Bhat, Nusrat Shah, Rajinder Kumar, Sham Lal and Ishwar Dutt.
The government said the promotions will remain subject to the outcome of any writ petitions, if pending, before the competent courts.
