Temperature Requirements:
- Frozen meat: Must be stored at -18°C or below
- Chilled meat: Must be maintained at 0–4°C
Labeling Regulations:
- Clear mention of “date of freezing” mandatory
- Species identification required (goat, buffalo, chicken)
- Maximum 12-month shelf life from freezing date
- E-commerce deliveries: Minimum 30% shelf life or 45 days remaining
Documentation Compliance:
- Calibrated temperature monitors mandatory
- Proper transport records required
