No awards will be accepted directly at the Divisional Office, through email, or by post.

Each Sub/Branch Office will compile the data and forward it to the Deputy Secretary (Secrecy), JKBOSE Jammu Division by November 6, 2025.

Detailed JKBOSE Guidelines for Submission 2025

To ensure transparency and uniformity, JKBOSE has issued the following seven-point checklist for schools preparing the Internal Assessment Awards:

  1. Use Official Prescribed Formats
Marks for both Class 10 and Class 12 must be recorded on the official downloadable formats available at www.jkbose.nic.in. Separate templates exist for SSE and HSP-II.
  2. Ensure Error-Free and Legible Entries
No cutting, overwriting, or use of whiteners is allowed. Any discrepancy will render the submission invalid.
  3. Mark ‘Absent’ Clearly
If a student is absent, mark them as “Absent” — no roll number column should be left blank.
  4. Proper Signatures and Attestations
Two copies of the internal assessment must be submitted, each duly signed by subject examiners and attested by the Head of Institution (HOI).
  5. Submission Through Sub/Branch Offices Only
JKBOSE will not accept internal assessments through unofficial means like email or courier.
  6. Include Complete Roll Numbers
Each student’s full examination roll number must be clearly mentioned on the records.
  7. Maintain Institutional Record
Every institution must keep a signed, candidate-wise, subject-wise copy of the internal assessment for future verification.

Accountability of Heads of Institutions

JKBOSE has made it clear that the Heads of Institutions will be personally responsible for ensuring timely submission.
No requests for condonation of delay will be accepted, and post-examination penalties will apply for any lapses.

Why Internal Assessments Matter

Internal assessments form a crucial part of JKBOSE’s evaluation process. They:

  • Reflect the continuous performance of students across the academic year.
  • Encourage practical learning and consistency over one-time exam scores.
  • Help students improve through assignments, projects, and classroom participation.

Accurate and timely submission ensures students’ final results genuinely represent their overall performance.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

JKBOSE has highlighted recurring errors that institutions must avoid:

  • Incomplete roll numbers
  • Late submission after the deadline
  • Missing signatures or attestation
  • Submissions via email or post
  • Blank fields in assessment records

Such mistakes can lead to rejection of awards or delayed result processing.
