SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a scheduled power shutdown in parts of north Kashmir on December 18, 2025, which will affect electricity supply in several areas of valley.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the shutdown will be observed due to maintenance work on the 33 KV Arampora–Handwara hotline and the 33 KV Wanpoh–Qaimoh line. As a result, power supply will remain suspended from 9.30 am to 3.00 pm.
