PMP Junior Assistants Promoted as Senior Assistants in School Education Kashmir
Srinagar, Feb 23: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has issued an order regarding the promotion of 18 PMP Junior Assistants to the post of Senior Assistants with immediate effect.

As per Order No. 82-DSEK of 2026 dated 23-02-2026, the promoted officials have been adjusted and posted at various offices across Kashmir division. The order follows earlier promotion orders issued in January 2026.
According to the official order, some officials will continue at their present place of posting, while others have been directed to report to concerned Chief Education Officers (CEOs) including Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramulla, Kupwara, and Kulgam for further adjustment in needy offices or institutions within the security zone.
The officials who will continue at DSEK include Arun Bhatt, Nalini Bamzai, and Rohit Pandita. Vikas Najawan will continue to work in the Administrative Department, while his salary will be drawn by CEO Baramulla.
Several officials have been directed to report to CEOs for adjustment, including Pooja Pandita, Anu Raina, Jatinder Pandita, Khushbu Bharti, Sunaina Dhar, Indu Rajput Raina, Sakshi Raina, Ritu Pandita, Rakesh Kachroo, Rahul Kumar Bhat, Bawana Bhat, Neeru Raina, and Preeti.
The order clearly states that all promotees must fulfill the terms and conditions mentioned in their promotion orders. They are required to join their new place of posting within seven days. Failing to do so will be treated as forfeiting their promotion.
The Directorate has also clarified that no request for modification of posting will be entertained before joining the new place of posting.
The order has been issued under the signature of Dr. Iqbal Hussain Mir (JKAS), Personnel Officer, School Education Kashmir.
