School Timings Revised in Kashmir Division from April 1: DSEK Issues Order
Srinagar, Mar 30: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir has announced a change in school timings across the Kashmir division, effective from April 1, 2026.
According to the official order, all government and recognized private schools must follow the revised schedule strictly.
New School Timings:
📍 Within Srinagar Municipal Limits
Schools will function from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
📍 Outside Srinagar Municipal Limits (Other Areas of Kashmir Division)
Schools will operate from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM
The directive applies to all institutions, and authorities have instructed strict adherence without any deviation.
Officials emphasized that the order must be implemented across all schools to ensure uniformity in academic functioning.
